12/09 - Huge thanks to Wayne Buckley who attended our party and presented us with a cheque for £400 from TEMPERATURE CONTROL, Old Trafford who made donations to local charities instead of giving clients a bottle of wine.

12/09 - A massive thanks also to Matthew McArdle, manager of Argyles Bar, Barlow Moor Rd., Chorlton, who organised the donation the New Years Eve door takings to us – a whopping £630

12/09 - Following an application from us, the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund has generously given us £500 towards the running of Chatterbox – very many thanks.

05/11/09 - Co-op group have kindly donated £1000 to help sponsor our Chatterbox Club

16/10/09 - Our funds have received a welcome boost from the Cheadle Hulme branch of Waitrose, which recently handed over a cheque for £400 to the group. Each month the supermarket splits £1,000 between three local charities under its Community Matters scheme. Shoppers receive tokens when they pay for their shopping and choose to deposit them in one of three charity boxes at the exit. At the end of the month a share of the £1,000 goes to each charity, with the most popular receiving £400 and the others £325 and £275. South Manchester DS Support Group received the most tokens during the month of July! .
