Bradford Down Syndrome Training and Support Service: Online training courses to help with the education and development of children with Down syndrome delivered by Dr Wendy Uttley
BDSTSS are delivering 'bitesize' online sessions. Each session is one hour long and costs £5 for family members and £10 for professionals. Courses are:
- Including children with Down syndrome -  an introduction (5 sessions)
- Signing and children with Down syndrome (4 sessions)
- Teaching basic number skills to children with Down syndrome using the Numicon approach, including time and money (3 sessions)
- The inclusion of children with Down syndrome - expectations of behaviour (4 sessions)
- Let's make it visual - using visual resources to develop the language, communication and literacy skills of children with Down syndrome (2sessions)
- ME, my body, my friends, my life - SRE and Down syndrome (5 sessions)
- Reading, Language Intervention for children with Down syndrome (6 sessions)
