Odd Sock Day
Often celebrated on 21st March (World Down’s Syndrome Day), but you can do this anytime – to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down’s syndrome. Have fun wearing odd socks in your workplace, school, college or community group. Download our Odd Sock Day Guide.

World Down's Syndrome Day
21st March is World Down Syndrome Day. This official day was created to celebrate the lives of people with Down’s syndrome and to make sure they have the same freedoms and opportunities as everybody else. Get involved and raise funds and awareness through your workplace, school or community group. Download our ‘Get Involved Guide’ for WDSD.

“Down Syndrome Manchester connected us with other parents of children with Down Syndrome when our daughter was a baby, when we really needed to know we were not alone on this journey. Being able to go along to their lovely support group meetings where we could chat to others who had beautiful children with that extra chromosome was invaluable to us.”
